Shelby - Easter 2009
I took this picture of my cousin’s dog, Shelby, last Easter in her bunny outfit. I still wonder if she’s adorable or miserable.
A lot of dog owners today dress their pups up for the holidays, when the weather gets chilly outside or on an everyday basis.
What are some of your opinions about doggie-clothes? Would you or have you ever dressed up your dog?

Want to integrate a healthier food to your dog’s diet?
VeRUS All-Natural Pet Foods offers quality dog and cat food without any by-products, fillers or chemical preservatives. According to their website, “[VeRUS’] foods are carefully crafted to yield the ideal levels of protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids and micronutrients for your pet.”
Brennan Kahl, owner of Baltimore Dog Peace, Love, Walking. LLC. is a big supporter of VeRUS dog food. A healthy diet is one of the top tips she gives to dog owners.
“I’ve recommended VeRUS products to a lot of my clients, and many of them have switched over,” said Kahl. She believes home-cooked meals are the best nutrition you can offer your dog, but VeRUS remains as a quality alternative to dog owners who may not have the time.
For a list of carrier stores in your area, visit VeRUS’ store locator.
Get the "Orange Kit" from the ASPCA online store
It’s almost April, and do you know what that means? ASPCA‘s Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month is just around the corner.
“Without tips from the public, many animals would remain in abusive circumstances, unable to defend themselves,” says ASPCA Humane Law Enforcement Supervisory Special Investigator and star of Animal Planet’s Animal Precinct, Annemarie Lucas. “We commend the brave and swift actions of concerned citizens who report cruelty.”
To show your support, thrown on some orange and support helpless animals in your area. For official ASPCA orange gear, visit their online store.
Please do your part to help the animals, and report animal cruelty to your local agency who are responsible for investigating and enforcing the anti-cruelty codes near your home.
